Lena is an AI-powered learning game designed to provide Primary 1–6 pupils with fun, story-driven educational adventures in math, literacy, and science. The Game Designer will play a key role in shaping engaging gameplay experiences, creating mechanics, levels, and interactive features that support adaptive learning and keep players motivated.
Design innovative and engaging gameplay experiences
Create level designs, game mechanics, and interactive features
Collaborate closely with developers, artists, and other team members to ensure cohesive game development
Prototype gameplay ideas using paper, digital tools, or game engines
Balance and refine game systems to align with project goals and improve player engagement
Produce design documentation and visual mockups
Consider different player types and motivations when planning gameplay
Think systematically about complex game interactions
Portfolio showcasing successful game design work
Strong knowledge of pacing, flow, and player motivation
Proficiency in creating design documents and visual mockups
Experience with prototyping tools or game engines
Understanding of player behavior and engagement drivers
Ability to analyze gameplay systems and interactions
Strong collaboration skills and openness to feedback
Additional Advantages:
Published or commercially released game credits
Experience with free-to-play or live service game design
Familiarity with agile development processes
Skills in illustration or visual design
