Deputy Chief of Staff

The Deputy Chief of Staff supports the Chief of Staff in coordinating cross-departmental initiatives, managing strategic projects, and ensuring organizational objectives are achieved efficiently. The role requires strong operational, analytical, and leadership capabilities.

* Assist the Chief of Staff in aligning organizational priorities across departments

* Facilitate clear communication between teams to optimize workflow and decision-making

* Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and strategic initiatives

* Lead and manage special projects from conception to execution

* Provide analytical support, including reports, briefs, and presentations for executive leadership

* Monitor performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement

* Act as a liaison between senior leadership and internal teams to enhance operational efficiency

* Strong organizational, project management, and operational skills

* Leadership and interpersonal communication abilities

* Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

* Adaptability and a solutions-oriented mindset

* Experience in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, or conflict resolution is a plus

* Analytical, research, and presentation skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus

* 3–5 years of experience in operations, strategy, or administrative leadership

* Familiarity with organizational systems design or African contexts is advantageous
