Lecturer (Hotel & Leisure Management – Front Office)

Republic Polytechnic is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Lecturer to join its School of Hospitality. The ideal candidate will have substantial industry experience in Front Office operations and a passion for educating and mentoring future hospitality professionals.

Deliver lectures and practical lessons in areas such as Front Office Operations, Guest Relations, and related hospitality modules.

Equip students with essential operational and service excellence skills for the hospitality industry.

Support curriculum development and enhancement to ensure alignment with industry standards.

Guide and mentor students in both academic and practical training environments.

Conduct assessments, provide feedback, and support student development.

Utilize digital tools and hotel management systems (PMS, TMS) in teaching.

Collaborate with academic colleagues and industry partners to strengthen course delivery and student learning outcomes.

Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related discipline.

5–8 years of industry experience in Front Office operations (hotels, resorts, or hospitality venues).

Strong understanding of guest service standards and hotel management systems.

Interest in hospitality education and student development.

Prior experience in training or mentoring within a hospitality environment is an advantage.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable using digital technology and simulations for instructional purposes.

Collaborative and professional approach to teamwork.
