Chief Operating Officer (Oil Palm)

Bridgemead HR is recruiting a Chief Operating Officer for its oil palm agribusiness operations. The role requires a senior executive to provide strategic and operational leadership across plantation, processing, and distribution, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and alignment with long-term business goals.

Oversee daily operations across plantation, milling, refining, and logistics functions

Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives

Drive cost optimization and efficiency improvements across all operational units

Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Collaborate with finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

Lead and manage senior operational managers and departmental heads

Optimize supply chain and distribution systems for improved efficiency

Establish and track operational KPIs and performance metrics

Support business expansion, investment decisions, and strategic growth initiatives

MSc, BSc, or HND in Agriculture, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

MBA or executive management certification is an added advantage

Minimum of 15+ years’ experience in operations management

At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within agribusiness or manufacturing

Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills

Excellent knowledge of operational efficiency, supply chain, and production systems

Strong financial and cost management understanding

Ability to manage large teams and complex operations
