Senior Accountant

Megastar Technical and Construction Company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain strong financial controls across multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports for ongoing projects
• Supervise site, project, and branch accountants
• Resolve payment-related issues across project locations
• Reconcile and manage project imprest accounts
• Record and post financial transactions into the general ledger
• Support the Finance Manager in implementing financial controls and processes

• BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• ICAN or ACCA certification or at final stage
• 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Navision, or SAP
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Good understanding of tax regulations and statutory compliance
• Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high levels of accuracy
