Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Deliver lessons in mathematics, further mathematics, physics, and chemistry to students at various levels
Prepare students for examinations such as JAMB, SAT, GRE, GMAT, and other standardized tests
Evaluate student strengths and learning gaps to customize teaching approaches
Provide consistent feedback and recommend strategies for academic improvement
Develop lesson plans, practice questions, mock exams, and study materials
Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and progress
Assist students with assignments, homework, and revision sessions
Support both in-person and online learning sessions where required
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline
Proven teaching or tutoring experience in mathematics or related subjects
Strong understanding of mathematical concepts with the ability to explain clearly
Familiarity with exam formats such as SAT, GRE, GMAT, or JAMB is an added advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to teach students across different age groups and learning levels
Strong organizational skills and dedication to student achievement
Experience with online teaching tools such as Zoom or Google Classroom is an added advantage
