Maintenance Officer

Eric Kayser Nigeria, a premium French bakery brand, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to ensure all restaurant equipment and facilities are fully functional, well-maintained, and operating safely at all times.

• Carry out routine inspection of restaurant equipment and facilities
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in ovens, refrigerators, air conditioners, and plumbing systems
• Ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing installations
• Respond quickly to maintenance issues and emergency repairs
• Coordinate with external technicians and service providers when required
• Keep accurate maintenance records and service logs
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and hygiene standards
• Monitor and manage maintenance tools and supplies
• Support installation and setup of operational equipment
• Reduce downtime of critical restaurant systems

• Minimum of OND / NCE or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
• Proven maintenance experience in restaurant, hotel, or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults
• Understanding of safety and maintenance procedures
• Good technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
