Heavy Duty Mechanic

Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to handle maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy equipment used in mining operations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise and the ability to work in demanding field conditions.

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs
• Maintain and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and transmissions
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues both on-site and in the workshop
• Replace faulty or worn-out components with suitable parts
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Support preventive maintenance planning and execution

• Minimum of Technical Certificate, Trade Test, or OND in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
• Experience working with heavy equipment such as excavators, dump trucks, and loaders
• Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
• Basic welding and fabrication skills are an added advantage
• Good understanding of safety standards and procedures
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding environments
• Ability to work independently and within a team
