Kitchen Assistant

Sixwings Restaurant, a fast-growing fast-food chain in Nigeria, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant to support kitchen operations, prepare a variety of meals and desserts, and contribute to menu creativity and high-quality food production in a fast-paced environment.

Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and support food preparation activities

Prepare a variety of meals and baked goods including cakes, cookies, pies, and bread

Assist in developing new recipes and creative menu items

Create new desserts to enhance menu offerings and customer experience

Supervise and coordinate food and dessert preparation and presentation

Monitor kitchen stock levels and ensure timely ordering within budget

Check quality of ingredients, materials, and kitchen equipment

Ensure consistency and high standards in all food and dessert offerings

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards

Support kitchen team in meeting operational goals and service standards

Minimum of Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field

At least 2 years’ experience as a kitchen assistant, chef, or baker

Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food preparation, and sanitation principles

Creative skills in recipe development and presentation

Good organizational and teamwork abilities

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Certification in culinary arts or pastry-making is an advantage

Strong attention to detail and passion for food quality
