Job Summary

The Project Manager / Engineering Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex electrical and instrumentation projects, combining strong project management capability with deep engineering expertise to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective project delivery.


Key Responsibilities



Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical and instrumentation projects

Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies

Monitor project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure compliance with scope and quality standards

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and vendors

Provide technical leadership and oversight for electrical and instrumentation engineering activities

Review technical designs, drawings, and documentation for compliance with project requirements

Ensure engineering solutions meet safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness standards

Serve as primary liaison with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

Provide regular progress reports, risk assessments, and project updates

Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality control procedures

Manage project budgets, expenditures, procurement, and vendor activities

Optimize resource allocation across projects to ensure efficiency

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence

Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff

Required Qualifications



Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering

10–15 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation project management

Experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors is highly preferred

Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams

PMP certification is an added advantage

Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance

Excellent technical expertise in electrical and instrumentation systems design, installation, and commissioning

Strong project management, budgeting, and cost control skills

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

High integrity, attention to detail, and strong decision-making skills

Ability to perform effectively under pressure in complex environments
