GIG Logistics is seeking a strategic and results-driven Deputy General Manager to lead its e-commerce logistics division. The role focuses on expanding merchant partnerships, enhancing last-mile delivery solutions, and optimising operational efficiency to drive growth in e-commerce logistics services.
Develop and implement strategies to grow e-commerce logistics services
Identify market opportunities and trends in e-commerce and digital retail
Drive initiatives to increase parcel volume, merchant partnerships, and revenue
Lead acquisition and onboarding of e-commerce merchants and corporate clients
Build and maintain strategic relationships with online retailers and marketplaces
Negotiate service agreements and commercial terms with key partners
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient fulfilment, sorting, and delivery
Coordinate with warehouse and hub teams to support order fulfilment and inventory movement
Work with technology teams to enhance digital tools and support API integrations
Ensure high service standards for merchants and customers, resolving delivery-related issues
Track and analyse shipment volumes, revenue, and operational performance
Provide leadership and direction to the e-commerce team, setting targets and monitoring performance
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field
MBA or relevant professional certification is an advantage
8–10 years of experience in e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, or business development
At least 3–5 years in a leadership or senior management role
