Senior Farm Worker

The Senior Farm Worker leads daily farm operations, supervises junior farm staff, and actively participates in fieldwork. This role ensures productivity, discipline, and adherence to best agricultural practices while achieving daily and weekly farm targets.

Supervise and coordinate daily farm operations and farm workers

Oversee crop planting, weeding, maintenance, and harvesting activities

Lead by example by performing practical farm tasks alongside the team

Implement and enforce Good Field Practices (GFP) and safety protocols

Ensure correct and safe use of farm tools, equipment, and machinery

Monitor worker attendance, discipline, and performance

Maintain accurate daily activity reports, productivity records, and field logs

Collaborate with management to meet production targets and timelines

OND, HND, or BSc in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field (preferred)

Strong hands-on experience in crop farming and field operations

Proven ability to supervise and manage farm workers effectively

Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills

Physically fit, field-oriented, and willing to work outdoors daily

Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and work ethics

Results-oriented, practical problem solver, and committed to leading by example
