Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Female Accountant with solid knowledge of taxation to oversee financial records, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and support effective financial management within the organization.

Maintain accurate documentation of all financial transactions

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review

Monitor company income, expenses, and overall cash flow

Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations

Prepare and file tax returns within the required timelines

Calculate and remit taxes including VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax, and Company Income Tax

Prepare financial statements such as Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement

Provide financial insights and reports to assist management decision-making

Manage payroll processing and ensure proper deductions for PAYE and pension contributions

Assist management in developing budgets and monitor expenditure against approved budgets

Liaise with tax authorities such as the Federal Inland Revenue Service and Lagos State Internal Revenue Service

Respond to tax queries and handle tax audit processes

Implement internal financial control systems to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement

Advise management on legal tax planning strategies and financial decisions that reduce tax liabilities

Relevant academic qualifications in Accounting or a related discipline

Good knowledge of taxation and financial regulations

Ability to maintain accurate financial records and reports

Strong analytical and financial management skills

Attention to detail and high level of integrity
