Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update general ledger accounts including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
Record all transactions related to rides, logistics, and fleet operations
Reconcile daily transactions with ride-hailing and driver payment systems
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor and report revenue trends, driver payouts, commissions, and operational costs
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
Handle tax calculations and ensure statutory compliance (e.g., VAT, PAYE, company income tax)
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
Generate financial reports to support decision-making for operations and growth
Use accounting software and internal dashboards to ensure transparency and accountability
Required Qualifications
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
Familiarity with ride-hailing or transport operations is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
