AWPS Renewable Energy LTD, the exclusive installer of SolaX and Sigenergy systems in Nigeria, is seeking a National Technical Lead. This role requires a highly skilled engineer to lead technical operations across Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, master proprietary solar technology, and train technicians to the company’s high standards.
Lead technical operations for Lagos (HQ), Abuja, and Port Harcourt
Serve as Design Authority for HNI projects: determine protection selectivity, cable sizing, and battery configurations
Act as the technical trainer for company technicians, ensuring adherence to AWPS standards
Enforce quality control via the Master SOP Manual to ensure high standards
Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced solar systems
Implement structured processes including checklists, SOPs, and Kanban Boards for efficient workflow
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in high-end power/solar systems
Proficient with top-tier brands (Victron, Schneider, Studer, or similar)
Strong understanding of 3-phase balancing, earthing protocols, and HV battery safety
Ability to rapidly master complex systems (Sigenergy/SolaX)
Solid fundamental electrical theory and problem-solving skills
Committed to safety, continuous learning, and structured operational processes
Assessment Process:
Written technical assessment on electrical theory, protection sizing, and safety
Live whiteboard design session with the Founder
Review and agreement to implement the company’s Operations Manual
