Check Point Certified Engineer

The Check Point Certified Engineer will handle advanced technical support, maintain firewall infrastructures, troubleshoot security issues, and ensure optimal performance of Check Point security systems for enterprise clients.

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Check Point firewall and security products

Diagnose and resolve complex security incidents, connectivity problems, and configuration errors

Install, configure, migrate, and upgrade Check Point solutions including Firewall, VPN, IPS, and SmartConsole

Monitor system performance and enhance the security posture of client environments

Work with customers to understand technical issues and propose suitable solutions

Prepare documentation including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base material

Escalate unresolved technical matters when necessary

Conduct periodic security assessments and provide recommendations

Collaborate with internal teams to maintain secure operational environments

Stay current with Check Point technologies, cybersecurity trends, and best practices

At least 5 years practical experience working with Check Point security technologies

Certifications such as CCSE and CCSA are required; CCME or CCSM is an added advantage

Strong understanding of firewall policies, VPN technologies, and core network security concepts

Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, routing, NAT, High Availability, and system hardening

Experience in customer support or ticketing environments

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to manage multiple technical issues independently

Knowledge of SIEM solutions, SOC processes, or broader cybersecurity operations is beneficial

Familiarity with cloud security stacks on platforms like AWS or Azure

Basic scripting or automation skills using PowerShell or Python are an advantage
