Job Summary


This contract-based role focuses on cost estimation, budgeting, and financial oversight for construction projects. The Quantity Surveyor will support efficient project execution by preparing tender documents, analyzing costs, and working closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.







Key Responsibilities


Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules for construction projects.


Conduct cost analysis and manage project financials from planning to completion.


Develop tender documents, contract papers, and carry out risk assessments.


Evaluate project costs and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.


Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective delivery and adherence to financial targets.


Ensure compliance with building regulations, health standards, and safety requirements.


Maintain detailed records and provide regular cost reports.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or cost management roles.


Strong knowledge of project estimation, cost control, and tender procedures.


Proficiency in QS tools, construction software, and MS Excel.


Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.


Effective communication and negotiation abilities.


Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.


Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.


Membership with NIQS or similar professional bodies is an added advantage.
