Procurement Officer

Tunel Comms is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, vendor relationships, cost negotiation, and timely supply of goods. The role ensures smooth operations by maintaining accurate inventory, analyzing market trends, and enforcing proper stock control measures.

* Source and qualify new vendors to build a reliable supply chain.

* Negotiate pricing, payment plans, and delivery timelines to achieve favorable terms.

* Conduct quality checks on delivered goods and maintain strong vendor relationships.

* Monitor market trends, price changes, and supply risks to support informed purchasing decisions.

* Track stock levels and manage reorder points to prevent shortages.

* Carry out cycle counts and full inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.

* Implement loss-prevention measures including FIFO stock rotation.

* Organise and maintain warehouse layout to support efficiency and safety.

* Bachelor’s degree.

* Strong negotiation and communication abilities.

* Good understanding of sourcing processes and vendor management.

* Ability to analyze quotations, compare costs, and prepare standard reports.

* Proficiency in MS Office tools.

* High attention to detail, organization, and integrity.

* Must reside within Lagos Island (Eko).
