Baker Hughes is offering a hands-on internship program for students pursuing Bachelors’ or Masters’ degrees in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or related STEM fields. Interns will gain practical experience in field engineering, operations, and equipment maintenance while developing professional skills in a global energy company.
* Collaborate with experienced engineers in field operations including drilling, well testing, and equipment maintenance.
* Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
* Collect and analyze field data, identify trends, and troubleshoot operational issues.
* Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
* Maintain detailed records of field activities, equipment inspections, and safety measures.
* Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures.
* Participate in training, team meetings, and project presentations.
* Receive coaching and mentorship from assigned buddy and manager.
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or other STEM-related programs.
* Minimum GPA of 2.75/4.0 or equivalent.
* Fluent in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
* Legally entitled to work in Nigeria without sponsorship or time restrictions.
