Prairie Mountain Health seeks a qualified Nurse II to deliver comprehensive nursing care in alignment with approved standards, policies, and professional ethics. The role requires strong clinical competence, effective decision-making, and the ability to work independently while maintaining positive professional relationships.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and clients following established standards, policies, and procedures.
Deliver care in accordance with the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics, CRNM/CRPNM Standards of Practice, and relevant legislative requirements.
Apply clinical nursing skills, concepts, and professional judgment in day-to-day patient care.
Demonstrate effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
Utilize computer systems and electronic software programs as required.
Maintain relevant competencies and participate in ongoing professional development.
Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
Active practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or eligibility for licensure.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) training.
Demonstrated clinical nursing skills and competence aligned with approved standards.
Ability to make sound decisions regarding patient care.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain positive working relationships.
