Python Developer – Apprenticeship

Bincom Dev Center seeks an aspiring Python Developer to join its Tech Apprenticeship Program, offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world software development projects.

Participate in the development and maintenance of Python-based applications, including web applications, scripts, and data analysis tools.

Assist in designing, developing, and testing software solutions using Python and related technologies.

Develop and implement efficient, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.

Collaborate with developers, designers, and project stakeholders.

Stay updated on Python libraries, frameworks, and best practices such as Django, Flask, Pandas, and NumPy.

Conduct research and explore new technologies within the Python ecosystem.

Participate in internal training sessions and workshops to develop technical skills.

Conduct unit tests and participate in integration testing to ensure functionality and quality.

Identify and report bugs and assist in debugging and troubleshooting.

Perform additional tasks including research, documentation, and administrative duties as assigned.

Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.

Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Passion for learning and a strong work ethic.

Experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.

Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
