Head of Operations

A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead its end-to-end manufacturing operations, drive operational excellence, optimize costs, improve productivity, and ensure consistent delivery of quality products.

• Lead and integrate Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Warehousing, Logistics, HSE, and Facilities operations.
• Drive production planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand, capacity, procurement, and inventory.
• Improve productivity, optimize asset utilization, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage operational budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure equipment reliability, facility availability, and effective maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs, dashboards, and governance processes.
• Lead regular performance reviews to drive accountability and informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Procurement, HR, and other departments to achieve business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a senior operations leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multi-functional manufacturing operations.
• Experience in FMCG, chemical, industrial, or manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• MBA or Master's Degree is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, APICS/CSCP, or NEBOSH are desirable.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, inventory management, and supply chain management.
• Experience with S&OP, lean manufacturing, budgeting, and cost optimization.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Odoo or SAP and Power BI.
• Strong leadership, people management, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
