Pharmacologist

Hec Recruit is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacologist to support drug research, safety evaluation, regulatory compliance, and product development. The ideal candidate will provide scientific expertise for clinical applications while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Design and conduct pre-clinical and clinical drug studies.
• Evaluate drug efficacy, toxicity, and mechanisms of action.
• Monitor adverse drug reactions and prepare pharmacovigilance reports.
• Support product registration, renewals, and regulatory audits.
• Liaise with NAFDAC, PCN, and other regulatory bodies.
• Provide scientific support for new product launches and dosage recommendations.
• Train medical representatives, pharmacists, and clinicians on drug profiles and rational drug use.
• Interpret clinical trial data, laboratory results, and scientific literature.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for drug storage, handling, and dispensing.

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacology or a related field.
• 2–4 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, research, hospital, or CRO environment.
• Fresh PhD holders with relevant research experience may apply.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug metabolism, and GCP/GMP.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, literature databases, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with regulatory submissions is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, scientific writing, presentation, and collaboration skills.
