IT Manager

A company in Lagos is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the administration, security, optimization, and continuous improvement of its enterprise IT infrastructure, Microsoft SQL Server databases, and business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database administration, enterprise application support, information security, disaster recovery, and IT governance.

• Manage, monitor, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) databases for high performance, availability, and scalability.
• Perform database performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Administer and support the Fund Fusion application to ensure seamless business operations.
• Apply application patches, updates, service packs, and security fixes.
• Troubleshoot application issues and liaise with vendors for upgrades and issue resolution.
• Automate statement generation and other business processes where applicable.
• Implement authentication, access controls, and enterprise security measures.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, regulatory requirements, and information security policies.
• Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and coordinate VAPT exercises.
• Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Monitor enterprise systems, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements.
• Manage change requests, application configurations, and enterprise release schedules.
• Develop and deploy reports using SSRS or other enterprise reporting tools.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5–7 years' experience in IT Operations, Database Administration, Enterprise Application Support, or IT Infrastructure Management.
• Proven experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise business applications, preferably Fund Fusion or similar financial applications.
• Hands-on experience with backup, disaster recovery, security, compliance, and enterprise system integrations.
