Data Entry Officer

Moniepoint is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Officer to support merchant onboarding by maintaining accurate customer, product, inventory, and pricing data within the Moniebook platform. The successful candidate will help ensure a smooth onboarding experience through high-quality data management and collaboration with internal teams. 

• Input, update, and maintain merchant records, product catalogues, SKUs, pricing, inventory levels, and customer profiles.
• Process bulk data imports from spreadsheets and CSV files.
• Prepare merchant accounts for onboarding by populating required data.
• Review merchant-submitted templates for errors and missing information.
• Validate data to identify and correct errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
• Maintain data entry logs and documentation.
• Support ad-hoc data requests from onboarding, account management, and support teams.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve missing or inaccurate customer information. 

• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in data entry, data operations, or a similar role, preferably in SaaS, retail technology, or fintech.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong record of data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and basic formulas.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms or POS/back-office SaaS tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience with bulk CSV imports, data migration, or catalogue management.

Exposure to retail operations, inventory systems, or POS platforms.

Experience supporting onboarding, implementation, or customer success teams.

Must be based in Oredo or Ikpoba Okha, Edo State.
