Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)

Lily Hospitals is seeking a qualified Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) to provide quality primary healthcare services and support community health initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills with a commitment to improving community health outcomes.

• Deliver primary healthcare services to patients.
• Support community health and preventive care initiatives.
• Perform basic medical procedures and patient assessments.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

• Diploma in Community Health from a recognized institution.
• Certified CHEW with a valid licence from the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in primary healthcare or a community setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of public health practices and protocols.
• Compassionate, culturally sensitive, and proficient in basic medical procedures and healthcare tools.
