Factory Accountant

Evans Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Factory Accountant to oversee financial and cost accounting activities within its manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in production accounting, inventory control, and cost analysis, with the ability to provide accurate financial reports that support operational efficiency and business decision-making.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial and cost accounting records for factory operations.
• Monitor production costs and analyze manufacturing variances.
• Manage inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and inventory control processes.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and cost analysis reports.
• Ensure accurate recording of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Support the implementation and use of ERP systems for financial reporting and inventory management.
• Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production accounting role.
• Experience with cost accounting, ERP systems, and inventory control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SAP, Sage, or QuickBooks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach.
