Pharmacy Technician

A healthcare facility in Lekki Phase 1 is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in medication dispensing, inventory management, and ensuring safe and efficient pharmacy operations. The role requires attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and strong collaboration within a clinical environment.

• Assist in preparing and dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision
• Label, package, and record medications accurately
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and medication records
• Monitor stock levels and manage pharmaceutical inventory
• Support inventory audits, expiry tracking, and stock replenishment
• Ensure proper storage of medications following safety guidelines
• Provide patient guidance on medication use when delegated
• Support healthcare staff with medication-related information
• Maintain pharmacy records including controlled drug registers
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (PCN, NAFDAC)
• Participate in audits and inspections
• Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy equipment and workspace
• Assist in preparation of sterile and non-sterile compounds
• Conduct routine checks on emergency drug supplies
• Attend training and stay updated on pharmacy practices 

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technician Studies or related field
• Valid license with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN)
• 2–3 years experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting
• Knowledge of pharmacy management systems (an advantage)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team
