Procurement Manager (Oil & Gas)

An oil and gas company is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes for major projects. The role requires strong technical understanding, supplier coordination, and the ability to manage procurement activities in line with industry standards.

• Manage sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for projects
• Issue RFQs, evaluate bids, and process purchase orders
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as API, ASME, and ISO
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams on technical specifications
• Manage vendor relationships, performance, and contract negotiations
• Coordinate logistics, delivery schedules, and material tracking
• Maintain procurement documentation, records, and reports
• Support audits and ensure procurement governance compliance

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain within oil & gas
• Strong knowledge of oil & gas equipment and vendor processes
• Experience with RFQs, bid evaluations, and procurement documentation
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Good commercial awareness (pricing, Incoterms, lead times)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously
