Cook/Chef

A food service operation is seeking skilled Cooks to prepare and present quality meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene, efficiency, and consistency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Prepare meals according to approved recipes and specifications
• Ensure timely preparation and service of food
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
• Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Handle, store, and preserve food items properly
• Monitor food freshness and report shortages or quality issues
• Minimize food wastage through proper portioning
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
• Assist with inventory monitoring and stock requests
• Support kitchen operations during peak periods
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff

• Minimum of SSCE qualification
• 1–2 years experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or hotel
• Culinary training or certification is an added advantage
• Ability to prepare both local and continental dishes
• Good knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Team player with professionalism and reliability
• Physical stamina for kitchen operations
