Debt Recovery Associate (NYSC)

Global Recovery Limited is seeking a NYSC Corps Member to support debt recovery operations. The role involves contacting clients with overdue payments, negotiating repayment plans, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with recovery procedures while delivering professional customer service.

• Contact customers via phone, email, SMS, and approved communication channels regarding overdue debts
• Follow up on repayment commitments and schedules
• Negotiate and agree on repayment plans with customers
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and recovery activities
• Update customer account details and payment status in internal systems
• Escalate complex or unresolved cases to supervisors
• Track recovery progress and monitor assigned accounts
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly recovery reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Provide firm but professional customer service during collections

• Current NYSC Corps Member
• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good negotiation and persuasion abilities
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM tools)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
• Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Experience in customer service, sales, telemarketing, or collections is an advantage
