Tally Accountant

An agro-allied/FMCG company in Ibadan is seeking a detail-oriented Tally Accountant to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in accounting operations. The role requires strong experience with Tally ERP, financial reporting, and compliance within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

• Record daily financial transactions using Tally ERP
• Prepare and post accounting entries for sales, purchases, payments, and receipts
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Track inventory and ensure proper valuation with relevant teams
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Support statutory compliance (VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.)
• Monitor and analyze financial data for accuracy and compliance
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Maintain confidentiality of financial records

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3 years relevant experience in agro-allied, FMCG, or manufacturing
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 (or newer versions) is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
