Accountant

Aqua Volt is seeking an experienced Accountant to set up and manage its accounting operations within a water production and distribution (FMCG) business. This is a hands-on role requiring someone capable of building accounting systems from scratch, managing financial records, and ensuring efficient financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

• Set up and manage the company’s accounting department and systems
• Handle daily cash transactions, sales records, and financial reporting
• Manage credit sales, debtors, and collections
• Oversee inventory and stock control processes
• Implement and manage ERP or accounting systems
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights for decision-making
• Support overall financial operations within the business

• Strong accounting background with proven experience
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment is highly preferred
• Professional certification (AAT or ICAN) is required
• Experience managing credit control and debtor accounts
• Knowledge of inventory/stock control systems
• Experience setting up and using ERP or accounting systems
• Ability to work independently and build structures from scratch
• Must reside within or around the Shasha axis in Lagos
