Remote Infrastructure Security Engineer

Quidax is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to strengthen and secure its cloud-native infrastructure. The role focuses on safeguarding systems using modern security tools and practices, ensuring robust protection across cloud environments, networks, and DevOps pipelines in a fast-paced fintech setting.

• Secure cloud-native environments and infrastructure systems
• Implement and manage SIEM, EDR, WAFs, and firewall solutions
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents
• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to embed security practices
• Strengthen network and cloud security architecture
• Support DevSecOps integration across development pipelines
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
• Maintain and improve infrastructure security controls and policies
• Contribute to incident response and threat mitigation efforts

• Experience securing cloud-native environments
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, WAFs, and firewalls
• Strong knowledge of networking and cloud security
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with Engineering and DevOps teams
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
• Fintech or blockchain security experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
• Skills in Python, Terraform, or Ansible is a plus
• Security certifications (CCSP, CEH, Security+, AWS, etc.) are an advantage
