Content & Publishing Manager

A publishing organization in Lagos is seeking a Content & Publishing Manager to oversee daily publishing operations, coordinate book production, and manage relationships with key stakeholders such as authors, editors, designers, printers, distributors, and bookstores. The role requires strong project management skills and experience in publishing or editorial operations.

• Manage day-to-day publishing operations and projects
• Coordinate book production with authors, editors, designers, and printers
• Drive publishing sales, partnerships, and market expansion
• Manage bookstore and distributor relationships
• Monitor inventory, consignments, and stock movement
• Ensure quality standards, timely delivery, and operational efficiency
• Oversee content management and publishing workflows
• Support strategic growth of publishing products and services

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in publishing, content management, editorial operations, or book production
• Experience working with authors, printers, distributors, and bookstores
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
