Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, labeling, and processing of patient samples
- Prepare samples for routine diagnostic testing
- Ensure proper storage and handling of specimens
- Support Medical Laboratory Scientists during routine and specialized tests
- Report irregularities, errors, or equipment issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace
- Adhere to laboratory safety, infection control, and waste disposal guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of samples, tests, and reagent usage
- Assist with documentation and proper filing of laboratory records
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Valid practicing license (where applicable)
- Minimum of 3 years relevant laboratory experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
