Job Summary

Brit Properties Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced Transport Admin Manager to oversee and coordinate all transportation and fleet operations. The role involves strategic planning, fleet management, compliance monitoring, cost control, and leadership of transport staff to ensure efficient and safe logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement transport strategies aligned with company goals
  • Coordinate daily transportation operations, including routing, scheduling, and dispatch
  • Oversee fleet management, including acquisition, maintenance, and vehicle compliance
  • Ensure vehicles are properly registered, insured, and maintained
  • Supervise transport staff, including drivers and support personnel
  • Prepare and manage transport budgets and control operational costs
  • Monitor transport performance and implement efficiency improvements
  • Ensure full compliance with transport laws, safety standards, and regulations
  • Handle incident reporting, accident investigations, and insurance claims
  • Maintain accurate transport records and generate operational reports
  • Implement and manage transport management systems and related technologies
  • Train and develop transport staff for optimal performance
  • Manage crisis situations and develop contingency plans for disruptions
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet management role
  • Strong understanding of vehicle operations, compliance, and safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and organizational skills
  • Strong budgeting and cost management abilities
  • Ability to manage teams and drive operational efficiency
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with transport management systems is an advantage
