Head of Operations

GHAP, an agro-allied company specializing in cassava-based bio-ethanol production, is seeking a Head of Operations to oversee end-to-end operational performance across farming, processing, supply chain, and commercial execution.

Manage farm and production operations, ensuring alignment with business plans

Supervise factory operations for productivity, efficiency, and product consistency

Enforce QA/QC systems, traceability, and regulatory compliance

Lead, coach, and develop employees across departments

Implement SOPs, performance metrics, and digital/people transformation initiatives

Build systems and processes for operational growth and strategic frameworks

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s is an advantage)

7–12+ years of progressive experience in agro-processing operations, preferably cassava-based

Proven experience managing multi-site operations with P&L responsibility

Strong numerical and analytical skills, operational forecasting, cost modeling, and margin optimization

Familiarity with GAP, HSE, QA/QC, and agro/food regulatory requirements

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
