Operations Manager

The role oversees warehousing and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with the organization’s short- to long-term objectives.

Contribute to developing operations strategies for warehouse and logistics functions.

Implement Quality Management System procedures and communicate proposed updates to management.

Review warehouse and logistics capacity, improve structure, and recommend investments when necessary.

Ensure team performance meets targets for volume, accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate warehouse and logistics activities with other departments for smooth operations.

Work with HR to manage, motivate, and develop staff for optimum performance.

Ensure full compliance with safety, health, hygiene, environmental and technical regulations.

Manage operations budget and ensure optimal resource utilization.

Prepare timely and accurate operational reports and management information.

Oversee smooth daily functioning of the operations department.

Set KPIs for subordinates to guide performance and accountability.

Maintain all operational documentation in both digital and physical formats.

HND or BSc in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations.

Strong understanding of warehousing standards, import/export guidelines, and customs regulations in Nigeria.

Proficient in advanced Excel and data analysis.

Strong commercial and financial awareness with understanding of operational impact on business costs and order fulfilment.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.

Good time-management and organizational skills.
