Job Summary



This role leads business continuity operations for the EMEA region, ensuring operational resilience, coordinating incident response, and maintaining continuity plans aligned with global standards. It focuses on improving uptime, optimizing recovery processes, and ensuring seamless continuity for merchants across multiple markets.





Key Responsibilities

Lead incident response across EMEA, including triage, escalation, containment, recovery, and post-incident reviews


Maintain regional continuity governance, including BIA updates, RTO/RPO tracking, testing, and ISO 22301–aligned improvements


Coordinate with processors, acquirers, card networks, APM providers, and issuers to minimize disruptions and ensure redundancy readiness


Support merchant continuity through readiness checks, hypercare, risk controls, and escalation pathways


Oversee root-cause analysis and documentation, while tracking and implementing corrective actions


Manage and report key metrics such as resolution time, SLA adherence, incident impact, communication timelines, and test coverage


Lead and develop the regional Business Continuity team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management


Partner with engineering, operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams to embed continuity requirements and enhance resilience


Ensure regulatory readiness across markets and support alignment on global initiatives






Required Qualifications

6–8+ years in payments/fintech operations or business continuity


Strong background in payment operations, including processors, acquirers, card schemes, and APMs


Proven experience leading incidents across time zones


Working knowledge of ISO 22301, BIA, RTO/RPO, and continuity testing


Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets; familiarity with Jira; BI/SQL knowledge is an advantage


Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


Ability to prioritize, problem-solve under pressure, and lead high-performing teams


Fluency in English; additional languages are an added advantage
