Job Summary

ASC Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement, logistics, inventory, and material control for large-scale projects in the oil & gas, energy, and infrastructure sectors. The role requires expertise in international sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain strategy to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.









Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies covering procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory control


Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management


Source critical materials, equipment, and services for industrial and oil & gas projects


Ensure compliance with local and international procurement standards and regulations


Coordinate with engineering, construction, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs and budgets


Establish supplier performance metrics and evaluation systems


Supervise logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery, customs clearance, and transportation of materials


Monitor inventory levels and implement efficient stock management systems


Review and approve purchase orders, bids, and procurement documentation


Collaborate with project control and finance teams to track costs and reporting


Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to enhance performance


Prepare and present weekly and monthly supply chain reports to management


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field


Master’s degree or certifications (CIPS, ASCM, CSCP, PMP) is an advantage


10–15 years of progressive experience in supply chain and procurement, preferably in oil & gas, EPC, or large industrial projects


Proven track record in international sourcing and logistics for heavy industrial projects


Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost control skills


Knowledge of import/export processes, customs regulations, and supply chain software


Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary and multicultural teams


Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
