Job Summary

The IT Officer will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT systems and networks, ensuring data security, and delivering efficient technology solutions to support the firm’s operations.

Key Responsibilities


  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and network performance.
  • Respond promptly to IT service issues and user requests.
  • Provide technical support across all branches of the organization.
  • Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  • Maintain records and logs of repairs, system updates, and software licenses.
  • Schedule periodic upgrades, maintenance, and system optimization.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers.
  • Conduct data backups and implement recovery solutions.
  • Maintain IT security standards and ensure data privacy compliance.
  • Prepare periodic reports on IT operations and infrastructure.
  • Support management with any other assigned IT-related tasks.



Required Qualifications

  • HND or BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant IT certifications or qualifications.
  • Evidence of completion or exemption from NYSC.
  • Prior experience working in IT, preferably within a financial services organization.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and IT security operations.
  • Awareness of current technology trends and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
