Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of bills of quantities, tender packages, and detailed cost estimates
Provide cost-control guidance from project initiation to completion
Carry out site measurements, progress valuations, and budget monitoring
Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective execution
Prepare interim and final payment certificates for ongoing projects
Conduct value-engineering and risk-assessment reviews
Maintain thorough documentation and produce comprehensive cost reports
Support contract negotiations, variation reviews, and procurement-related tasks
Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and organizational standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Strong background in construction costing, BOQ development, and contract administration
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and project costing software
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities
Capable of independently managing several projects simultaneously
