Job Summary

This role supports Haanta’s marketplace operations by managing vendor relationships, driving order fulfilment processes, and improving operational workflows. It requires a mix of relationship management, logistics oversight, and operational efficiency within a cross-border e-commerce environment.








Key Responsibilities


Serve as the main contact for assigned African vendors and maintain strong working relationships


Guide new Tier 2 and Tier 3 vendors through onboarding, product listing, pricing, and platform standards


Monitor vendor activities and performance, offering coaching for improvements


Supervise product uploads, categorization, price updates, and availability checks


Oversee the entire fulfilment flow from order placement to delivery in North America


Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely processing, quality checks, and shipping readiness


Track shipments and resolve delays, customs challenges, or delivery issues


Review vendor inventory to maintain accurate product listings


Manage administrative updates, records, and communications with vendors and internal teams


Communicate order progress to customers and resolve issues such as damage, shortages, or quality concerns


Process returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies


Check vendor product samples to ensure they meet marketplace quality expectations


Establish and maintain quality standards for materials, construction, and product accuracy


Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement improvements


Keep accurate records of orders, shipments, and vendor performance


Develop clear operational procedures and track key metrics including accuracy, delivery performance, and satisfaction levels

Required Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field


One to three years of experience in account management, vendor relations, or e-commerce operations


Strong background in order fulfilment and logistics, ideally in cross-border environments


Understanding of international shipping, customs processes, and trade regulations


Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures and time zones


Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle multiple priorities


Self-driven and capable of working independently or remotely


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience in African markets or international marketplace settings


Understanding of North American customer expectations


Experience in startups or fast-paced organisations


Awareness of cultural differences between African and North American markets


Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
