Job Summary

A reputable bakery and restaurant in Lekki Phase 1 is seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance operations, hygiene standards, utilities, and overall facility functionality. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by managing maintenance teams, enforcing safety standards, coordinating vendors, and supporting operational efficiency across departments.






Key Responsibilities

* Supervise maintenance activities and general facility upkeep across the premises.

* Oversee cleaners, security teams, and maintenance staff.

* Ensure all hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols meet regulatory requirements.

* Monitor utilities such as power and water to ensure constant functionality.

* Conduct routine facility inspections and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

* Manage vendor and contractor relationships for repairs, fumigation, waste management, and similar services.

* Develop and enforce facility policies and standard operating procedures.

* Ensure staff adherence to safety rules and emergency protocols.

* Prepare maintenance reports, cost estimates, and make improvement recommendations.

* Support various departments by providing timely facility-related solutions.

* Gather and analyze operational data to support business decisions.

* Prepare performance reports and coordinate with teams across bakery, kitchen, and front-of-house operations.

* Assist with special projects such as new menu rollouts and marketing activities.


Required Qualifications

* 3–5 years of experience as a Facilities Manager or in a related role; hospitality or food industry experience is an added advantage.

* Strong understanding of maintenance standards, safety procedures, and environmental guidelines.

* Excellent team leadership and people-management skills.

* Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

* Proficiency in reporting, budgeting, and vendor management.

* OND, HND, or BSc in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

* Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
