Job Summary


The NOC Officer is responsible for real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the performance and availability of the Solar Streetlight Network infrastructure and services, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery and operational excellence.










Key Responsibilities

* Monitor network systems, servers, applications, and infrastructure tools 24/7

* Respond to network alerts, alarms, and incidents, escalating as needed per SLAs

* Perform first-level diagnosis and troubleshooting of connectivity and performance issues

* Track, document, and close incidents and requests using the ITSM/ticketing system

* Collaborate with technical support, field engineers, and internal teams to resolve network faults

* Support proactive maintenance activities including system updates, patching, and performance tuning

* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly network performance reports

* Ensure compliance with network security protocols and operational policies

* Participate in shift rotations covering nights, weekends, and holidays

Required Qualifications


* HND/B.Eng/B.Tech in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

* 1–3 years of experience in a NOC, IT support, or technical operations role

* Strong understanding of data science and basic network protocols

* Experience using monitoring tools

* Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment

* Excellent communication and documentation skills
