Job Summary

PE LIFTS NIGERIA is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across elevator sales, installation, and maintenance. The role ensures operational efficiency, quality control, and seamless collaboration with internal teams and international manufacturers, while managing compliance and administrative functions across Nigeria and Ghana.






Key Responsibilities


* Oversee full lifecycle of elevator projects, from sales handover to post-installation maintenance

* Manage workflows across Sales, Finance, Procurement, Production, Logistics, CRM, Installation, and After-sales support

* Coordinate with international manufacturing partners for orders, shipments, and technical documentation

* Approve and manage field/site operations and administrative requests

* Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across all sites

* Manage administrative operations, scheduling, reporting, and documentation

* Approve and coordinate site visits, ensuring logistics and safety measures are in place

* Monitor international shipments, customs clearance, and inventory availability

* Supervise Regional Operations Managers and Site Leads in Nigeria and Ghana

* Implement process improvements and enforce SOPs

* Collaborate cross-departmentally with Sales, HR, Technical, Finance, and other teams

* Maintain accurate records and support internal audits

Required Qualifications

* Experience with international manufacturers or vendors

* Proven ability to manage operations across multiple West African countries

* Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills

* Willingness to travel frequently within West and East Africa


*Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):*


* Ensure 95% of installations and maintenance are completed on time

* Reduce operational costs by 10% annually and maintain 90% inventory efficiency

* Maintain customer satisfaction score of 85%+ and resolve complaints within 48 hours

* Achieve 100% compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements

* Retain 80% of team members and ensure 90% meet performance targets

* Approve 100% of site visits within 24 hours

* Maintain 95%+ on-time supplier delivery

* Implement at least two major operational process improvements annually with 10% productivity gain
