Job Summary






A leading travel and hospitality organization is seeking a Trade & MICE Sales Manager to drive revenue through trade partners, MICE clients, and direct sales. The role involves managing a high-performing team of 8, developing and executing sales strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction while achieving commercial objectives.






Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and profitability from trade and MICE channels.


Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, competitor trends, and customer behavior.


Set sales objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for trade and MICE channels.


Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, consortiums, MICE partners, and direct clients.


Manage quotations, contracting, and project timelines in coordination with Revenue Management and Resort teams.


Oversee event budgets, payment schedules, cancellations, and run sheets for MICE projects.


Monitor sales strategy effectiveness and adjust to meet targets.


Develop team skills through coaching, training, and performance assessments.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.


Proven track record in trade and MICE sales within the travel or hospitality industry.


Knowledge of Online Travel Agents distribution models and commercial requirements.


Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.


Digital proficiency including PowerBI, Salesforce, Coupa, and e-distribution tools (Derbysoft / API).


Fluent in English; French is a plus.


Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and travel when required.
