2D/3D Animator

Relio Studios, a Nigeria-based animation studio, is seeking a talented 2D Animator, 3D Animator, or Animation Generalist to create high-quality animated content for original IPs, children's entertainment, commercial, educational, and social-impact projects. The ideal candidate will have strong character animation skills and a portfolio showcasing creative storytelling and technical expertise.

• Create high-quality 2D and/or 3D animations for a variety of projects.
• Produce compelling character animations (mandatory).
• Interpret scripts, storyboards, and creative briefs into engaging animated sequences.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team throughout the production process.
• Contribute to character performance, timing, and visual storytelling.
• Produce animation assets that align with the studio's creative vision and quality standards.
• Revise animations based on creative feedback while meeting project deadlines.
• Support the creation of graphic assets for presentations, social media, and marketing materials where required.

• Demonstrable experience in 2D animation, 3D animation, or both.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Blender, Maya, Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, TVPaint, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating animation work.
