Stockbroker / Treasury Officer

A reputable financial institution is seeking an agile and results-driven Stockbroker / Treasury Officer to manage active trading, treasury operations, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will execute real-time market trades, oversee liquidity management, and maximize short-term investment returns while ensuring accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

• Execute daily real-time trades in equities and fixed-income instruments to maximize short-term returns.
• Manage the firm's remote trading terminal and respond quickly to market opportunities.
• Monitor and rebalance investment portfolios and mutual funds to optimize performance.
• Oversee treasury operations, including liquidity positioning and cash flow management.
• Maintain relationships with brokerages, custodians, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare daily trading logs, weekly portfolio valuation reports, and financial statements.
• Assess market risks and make informed trading decisions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in active trading and treasury operations within a reputable financial institution.
• Strong analytical, financial reporting, and real-time market risk assessment skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
